I am not sure where this blog will take me but I started it to just have a place to express my thoughts and share my art. Most likely I will find myself along the way.
Sometimes, when you become a wife and mother, you lose your sense of self. Maybe I was lost long before that as I have a habit of letting go of me to avoid conflict.
I love to sing! Two month ago at the age of 44, I started taking voice lessons. I feel so alive when I sing. Sometimes I swear I am going to pop out of my own skin.
Photography is another one of my passions. I have always seen things in pictures. It probably sounds weird but scenes actually freeze frame in my head. They say a picture is worth a thousand words but I love images that leave you speechless. Ones that captivate you with an overwhelming awe.
This year we have decided to home educate our three amazing kids. I am not going to lie.......I think I like it mostly because I am learning so much. I love spending every day with them exploring this amazing world and discussing how things work, listening to them express their thoughts, watching them create amazing pieces of art and just building an amazing relationship with each of them. I am the luckiest mom in the world!
Well, this concludes my first post.......the journey begins.
